The Sun is Always Shinning in San Diego! | Niagara Networks

Written by Jeff Blackwell | May 1, 2017

It’s not hard to fill the seats at the San Diego Data Connectors Conference on a 70-degree farenheit day in April. The event was at a central San Diego location, allowing attendees to easily exsplore many of  San Diego’s attractions such as the Gaslamp District, Padres Baseball, beautiful beaches, and, of course, great Mexican food! Although everyone was actively participating and engaging, you could feel the desire to step outside for a breath of fresh air.

We were proud to showcase our Niagara 4432 Packet Broker at our booth. This sexy 1RU box caught the attention of many passerbys and had them asking, “What does this box do?". After learning this 100Gb Network Packet Broker consists of 32 ports of 100Gb, they were very impressed.

The 4432 is a fully featured packet broker that is capable of not only aggregation, but replication, sophisticated filtering, load balancing, tunneling supports and more. In addition, the 4432 includes Niagara Network’s Fabric Flow technology which is at the core of the systems exhaustive packet broker functionality, responsible for the mapping of traffic flow relationships between source and destination ports.

The event hall had great energy and participation from both the vendors and attendees. Attendees were able to see the grand scope of a growing Network Security field along with the need for Network Visibility through the abundance of vendors showcasing various products and solutions. Niagara Networks was pleased to bring new ideas and insights to both newly growing companies as well as large, established Fortune 100 companies. Open dialogue and thoughtful discussions filled the exhibition hours and brought meaning to the event.
